ALL THE NEWS OF KELLERTON
Local and Personal Items Written by Our Regular Correspondent.

Kellerton, March 30. - Mr. and Mrs. Millard Jackson received announcement of the birth of a baby girl, Rose Katherine, to Mr. and Mrs. James M. Turner, Jr., of Los Angeles, Calif., March 23. Mrs. Turner will be remembered as Miss Ruth Jackson.

Mrs. J. M. Walker, who has been in the Leon hospital for eight weeks recovering from a broken bone, was brought to the Amanda J. Beck home Friday in the Stewart ambulance where she is being cared for.

The W. M. N. club enjoyed a potluck dinner Friday in the home of Mrs. Maynard Minthorn.

Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Cox came Saturday evening from Des Moines and on Sunday took their household goods to Des Moines where they are making their home.

Amanda J. Beck was a dinner guest Thursday of Elizabeth Jones and Miss Kathryn.

Mr. and Mrs. Lowner and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Harvey and children spent the week end in Des Moines.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hall, who moved to the Tingley vicinity, were in Kellerton Monday. They report they like their new home very much but are always glad to get back to Kellerton.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Trimble and children were Sunday guests of the Rev. Bressler family.

About 100 friends and neighbors gathered Monday night at the Myers home and charivaried the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Hallie Myers. The crowd was treated to candy bars and cigars.

Bert Ballou, who is living in Des Moines, was in town Saturday.

Mrs. Myrtle Johnson visited last week with her son and wife in Des Moines.

Mrs. Eva McCullough, of Beaconsfield, spent the week end with her sister-in-law, Mrs. Jim Aken.

Mr. and Mrs. Oren Jackson attended the Standard Oil Co. banquet at Creston last week.

Mrs. Amy Simple was a Sunday dinner guest of Mrs. Ella Lee.

Mrs. Ella Tracy will go to Kansas City Wednesday where she has employment.

Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Minthorn were Sunday dinner guests in the Rollin Thomas home at Lamoni.

Mr. and Mrs. Cario Manning, of Beaconsfield, and Mrs. Minta McClarey went Friday to Fort Knox, Ky., to visit their son and grandson, Gene Manning, who is in training there. They returned home Monday evening.

Mrs. Lillian Jackson left Tuesday for her home in Beaver, Utah.
