PERSONALS

Beatrice and Louise LANDIS came from Benton last Thursday and visited with their aunt, Mrs. Jennie LANDIS, in this city [Leon] over Sunday. They also visited a short time with their aunt, Mrs. Laura [(LANDIS)] ROBERTS, at Decatur Sunday. Saturday evening, their parents, Dr. and Mrs. LANDIS, came over and they all enjoyed a happy Sunday together, at the home of Mrs. LANDIS. Misses Grace and Bernice ROBERTS of Decatur, were also visitors at the LANDIS home Sunday.

NOTE: Janice LUND notes that the above article is in error. Minerva Jane "Jennie" (RILEA) LANDIS was Beatrice and Louise's grandmother, not their aunt. Laura (LANDIS) ROBERTS was Jennie's daughter. Grace and Bernice ROBERTS were sisters.
