Clough horse wins race
On the last night of the thoroughbred racing season at Prairie Meadows race track in Des Moines, Al CLOUGH of Sun Valley
Lake had a five-year-old mare "Holly and Fir," which won a mile race in one minute and 40 seconds.
The purse was $14,735 and was the mare's fourth win and increased her lifetime earnings to $60,000. CLOUGH is now racing
at Canterbury Park near Minneapolis, MN. Quarter horses will race at Prairie Meadows until October 27.
