IOWA PRESS COMMENT
BRIAR and the BUZZ SAW
The Ringgold Record recalls the fact that John BRIAR, who is to be governor CUMMINS' private secretary,
once conducted a paper at Blockton which he called "Briar's Buzz Saw," which paper was a buzz saw in real fact. Mr.
BRIAR had toned down of recent years, but as outer guard at the governor's door he will need some of the buzz saw
qualities until all appointment matters are settled.
