Biermas to celebrate 40 years of marriage

Paul and Marilyn (Triggs) Bierma of Groveland, IL. will celebrate their 40th anniversary. They were married at First Baptist Church in Mount Ayr on June 22, 1975. They are both graduates of Iowa State University. Marilyn is the daughter of Iona Triggs and the late Duane Triggs of Mount Ayr. Paul is the son of the late Carl and Lynn Bierma of Orange City IA.

Paul and Marilyn have three children, Scott of Collinsville, IL.; Jonathan (and Nikki) of Groveland, IL.; and Andrew (Kat) Bierma of Charlotte, NC. They also have 5 grandchildren.

Paul worked as an Engineering Manager at Caterpillar, Inc. for 38 years, and Marilyn is a retired family and consumer science teacher.
