LEO BIBLE, 57, KILLED IN IOWA CRASH SUNDAY
Leo G. BIBLE, 57, of Torrington and formerly of Lusk [WY], was killed in a head-on car collision near Kellerton, Iowa
Sunday. Funeral services are being held in Lusk this Wednesday afternoon.
Mr. BIBLE was alone when his car crashed with a car driven by Cecil KNEEDLER, 49, Mount Ayr, Iowa. Mr. KNEEDLER was
hospitalized. Mr. BIBLE was returning to Torrington from Macomb, Ill. where he attended the funeral of his sister, Mrs.
Florine HUGHES.
Pastor Harold BRINK of the Lusk Open Bible Church is officiating at the funeral services held from the Peet Mortuary.
Burial is in the Lusk Cemetery.
Casket bearers are Walter REED, Sam REED, Ted Pennington, James Pennington, Gene Harris and Gene PERRY.
Mr. BIBLE was born in McDonough County, Ill., October 25, 1910. He lived in Lusk for many years and recently was employed
at the Port of Entry here and was transferred to Evanston and later Torrington. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his brother, Wayne of Lusk; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche BISWELL and Mrs. Garnet BURNHAM, both of Macomb;
stepson Douglas GEYER of Oceanside Calif.; two nieces, Betty Jo JONES of Custer, S.D. and Mrs. Juanita LAUDERMAN, Macomb.
His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. BIBLE; wife, Mel.; sisters, Mrs. Faye JACOBY and Mrs. HUGHES; brothers, Ralph and Otto
"Ot" died previously.
