TEACHERS GATHER TODAY

EDUCATIONAL COUNCIL TO MEET THIS EVENING AT SAVERY

The first session of the State Teachers' association annual gathering will be the business session of the educational council held this evening at 8 o'clock at the Savery hotel. A secretary will be elected and the reports sumbitted that are to be made publice at the opening tomorrow morning at the Y.M.C.A. auditorium. After that the teachers' meeting proper will be ushered in. . . .

The county superintendents' department will meet Saturday at 2 p.m. in the main room of the Capital City Commercial college. Beside the appointment of committees there are numerous papers to be read, among which are those by Clifford B. PAUL of Jones county, F. J. HOOK of Winneshiek county, F. E. CLARK of Monona county, J. C. BENNETT of Ringgold county and Louis N. GERBER of Hamilton county. There will also be the report of the Iowa Teachers' Reading Circle, reports of special committees and the election of officers. . . .
