2012 Leon Rodeo Queen and Princess Candidates
At the 2012 50th Leon Rodeo Celebration, three girls are vying for the honor to be named Leon Rodeo Queen and six are
competing for the title of Princess. The contest will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3. The day will consist of the girls
competing in horsemanship, personal interviews, giving speeches and modeling. The horsemanship portion of the even
will be heldin the rodeo area. The personal interviews will follow at the North Elementary School. The girls will be having
lunch at From the Ground. Then, in the afternoon, speeches and modeling will take place back at the school. The crowning
of both Queen and Princess will take place just prior to the Mutton Bustin event on July 4 at the Leon Rodeo. Director
of the pageant is Mindy HAMILTON. Queen Contestants

Shelby KEYES, 17, daughter of Tom and Rosa KEYES of Van Wert, Iowa.
Eva OPFER, 21, daughter of Larry and Christine OPFER of Des Moines, Iowa.
Sarah FARRELL, 19, daughter of Mike and Gerene FARRELL of St. Charles, Iowa.
Princess contestants for the 2012 50th Leon Rodeo Celebration are:
Jacey MASTERS, 18, daughter of Barb and Todd MASTERS of Leon, Iowa.
Anna HORN, 15, daughter of Jeff and Brenda HORN of Stuart, Iowa.
Chania VOS, 13, daughter of Jeff and Cherri VOSS of Ellston, Iowa.
Cori BEBOUT, 14, daughter of Scott and Miny BEBOUT of New Market, Iowa.
Sidney McFEE, 12, daughter of the late Craig McFEE, Kelly McFEE and David FRIEDEL of Allerton, Iowa.
Caitlyn McLEAD, 11, daughter of Erik SHEIL and Carrie McLEAD and Robert McLEAD of Mount Ayr, Iowa.
