Franklin Spurrier, editor and publisher, announces the sale of the Record-News to Jack R. Terry of Lamoni. Transfer of ownership will take April 1, with Terry assuming the position of editor-publisher.

On Sunday morning, you will be able to pick up your phone and dial. Telephone conversion is to take place early Sunday morning.

The Raiders track team tied for 11th place in the state Class A indoor track meet held in Iowa City.

Incumbent officers of the Ringgold County Swine Producers Association were re-elected during the annual meeting of the organization. They are Harry Skarda, president; Lloyd Weeda, vice-president; and Jim Jones, secretary-treasurer.
