The walls are coming down to make way for a new Great Western Bank facility at the intersection of Highway 2 and Taylor Street in Mount Ayr and a high school class has had a big part in getting ready for what's to come. The
high school class has been drafting the plans for the new facility for quite some time.
"Farmer Song" written by three members of a Ringgold county [Hynek] family about the changes in the lives of people with the farm crisis of the 1980s will be produced at Iowa State University.
With 13 Raiders returning with letters, Coach Ron Landphair is looking for some good things for his Raider track team again this year.
