The Cross Service and Garage on Highways 2 and 169 was entered Monday night and $60 was taken from the cash register.
The break-in occurred between 1 a.m., closing time, and 7 a.m. when Ames CROSS, proprietor, discovered the loss when
he opened the station for business. No merchandise was taken. Entrance to the building was gained by breaking a west
window to the restroom and the cash register was forced open with a screwdriver.
