There was heavy damage sustained in an airplane accident in Mount Ayr. There appeared to be no injuries to the pilot of the aircraft, Paul IBURG of Alexandria, SD or his uncle, Henry IBURG of
Fulton, SD, who was a passenger, when the plane went off the end of the runway.
Senator Leonard BOSWELL of Davis City has been selected to chair the important Senate Appropriations Committee for the 1991 legislative session which begins in January.
