The new Kellerton municipal building has become a focal point of the main street through town after being constructed on a lot cleared for it recently.

Dick and Neil Weehler of Maloy hosted a program Thursday to assist beef producers in becoming familiar with feeding bio-energy co-products to make their farming practice successful.

Clara Terrell has been named to the dean's list from the College of Arts and Sciences at Loyola University in Chicago.

TC Peg 4077 won grand champion cow-calf pair at the 2006 North Centeral Regional Preview Junior Angus Show held in Sioux Falls, SD recently. Tyler Becker of Diagonal owns the February 2004 daughter of Leachman Saugahatchee 3000C.

Cody J. Sobotka, a senior at Mount Ayr Community high school, has been awarded a $2,000 scholarship from the Grand Lodge of Iowa, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons.

Katy Bretz and Katy Kimbley both graduated from Des Moines Area Community College campuses following the spring semester.
