Mount Ayr resident John McGILLIGAN has been cast in the lead of Frank Butler in a Webster City production of "Annie Get Your Gun" this summer. McGILLIGAN, who is instrumental music instructor at Mount Ayr Community elementary school, will play opposite Becky Armentrout for the six-night run of the musical at the Webster City High School auditorium.

Two Mount Ayr residents were presented Governor's Volunteer Awards for their volunteer work for the Department of Human services at a ceremony in Council Bluffs recently. Jeanette LUTICK of Mount Ayr traveled with her parents to the ceremony where Vera MOORE and Jack MOORE were honored.
