Its homecoming week at Diagonal Community high school and activities are underway leading up to the major events Friday
night at the school. Candidates for homecoming king and queen have been chosen from junior and senior classes at
Diagonal Community school. They include Jacqueline SNYDER, Trisha MOFFITT, Bobbie COMER, Gina GUNSOLLEY, Trevor WOLF,
Bradley BENTLEY, Alex STEPHENS and Jeremy SOBOTKA. Attendants for the homecoming court include sophomore Katie
AMICK, sophomore Jason WORTMAN, freshman Tony WILEY and freshman Whitney WOLF.
Mount Ayr Community Raider and Raiderette bowling teams swept matches from Lenox and placed first and second in a
regional meet at a regional tournament in Osceola in recent action.
Hoover Angus Farms of Tingley owns 11 bulls featured in the 2004 Spring Sire Evaluation Report published by the American
Angus Associaton of Saint Joseph, MO.
