The land acquisition process was laid out, choosing an abstractor discussed and other brief reports made when Gooseberry Lake Agency held its regular meeting Thursday.
Moving forward with a housing rehabilition grant, adopting a call for one-cent sales tax vote, nuisance properties and city accounting were topics for the Diagonal City Countil at its October meeting recently.
The Raiders continue to lead the Class 1A District 7 race with their victory over Wayne Friday night and are ranked the same in the polls. The Raiders are 6-0 in the district and unbeaten at 8-0 on the season.
