Leigh Ann Snethen and high school government instructor James Saville will be one of ten sets of students and teachers who have been chosen to embark on an all expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C. from the Iowa State Bar Association to learn more about the U.S. Constitution and Amercian government.

Several personnel decisions were made and the issue of representation of teachers in bargaining clarified at the regular Grand Valley Community school board meeting Wednesday, January 9, and Bruce Lange was named Grand Valley principal.
