Marsha Hosfield, 15, will serve on the Farm Journal magazine's Teen Board for the coming school year, according to an announcement by Gertrude Dieken, women's editor of the publication.

Loren Ibbotson, of Tingley, was re-elected president of the board of education of the Mount Ayr Community School District during a reorganization meeting held Monday night.

A break in at Novak Sales & Service, located north of Mount Ayr on Highway 169, early Tuesday morning, netted thieves about $57 in cash.
