Plans are virtually complete for establishing a bus route from Mount Ayr to the south part of the county for the purpose
transporting tuition pupils to and from Mount Ayr school. The transporation service is being inaugurated primarily for the
purpose of serving the south part of the county where there are few town schools easily accessible for tuition pupiles. The
new 36-passenger bus is 91 inches wide and 17 feet wide and is being purchased at an approximated cost of $1,500.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul CREWS moved Friday from Iowa City to Mount Ayr, where he has assumed the duties of pharmacist in
Horne's Rexall Store.
Bernard PETERS, who has been stationed in Mount Ayr for the past year in the employ of the Iowa State Highway
Commission, left Tuesday for Houston, Texas, where he will make his home.
Rowena MOORE left Sunday for Washington, D.C., where on Tuesday afternoon she was united in marriage with Marion
STEPHENS, of Washington, former sheriff of Ringgold County.
