Although Ringgold County wasn't plagued with the flooding as happened in Des Moines and Ames, it seemed to get everything else this past week, damaging lightning, frequent and plentiful rains and one twisting wind which was thought to be a tornado. The tornado struck six miles north of Mount Ayr on the extension of the "lake road" at the Theola WEEDA 80-acre farm.

Marty LESAN won Croquemania VI.

Raiders slipped to 4-7 with a trio of losses in a long week.
