Two Ringgold County students will be among more than 400 outstanding high school seniors from across the state to be honored at the third annual
Governor's Scholar Recognition Program at the Polk County Convention Complex in Des Moines Sunday. Gina Lee GUNSOLLEY, daughter of Frank and Joan
GUNSOLLEY of Diagonal, will be recognized from Diagonal Community High School Katherine E. WEDDLE, daughter of Dr. Dan and Kristy WEDDLE of
Mount Ayr, will be recognized from Mount Ayr Community High School.
A total of 21 teams are expected to take part in the Mount Ayr Community Raider Relays coming Tuesday, April 26.
