Winners were named after the Mount ayr Golf and Country Club hosted a youth open golf tournament Saturday, Jul 31. The youngsters participated according to age group with prized awarded to the top one or two in each catagory. Winners in the tournament included: Alex SOBOTKA, Connor GILES, Leah KLEJCH, Dawson KNAPP, Tyler WHITSON, Bailey MYER and Erin BUDACH.

Drivers from Ringgold County placed as follows at the Adams County Speedway this weekend: Jim TULL of Redding was second, Jason PARKER of Clearfield was third, David WEEDA of Mount Ayr was fifth, Les ELLIOTT of Diagonal was sixth and Clint DREDGE of Mount Ayr was 12 in the hobby stock A feature.
