"How To Eat Like A Child and Other Lessons In Not Being a Grown UP" will be the fall musical play presentation at Mount Ayr Community high school. The musical, directed by Shaun KNIEP and Carol CASON has a large cast and is divided into a number of short scenes on different topics.

Tyler TRIGGS and his family were able to visit NASA and the theme parks in Orlando, FL on behalf of the Make-A-Wish Foundation this summer.

Moonlighter's Theater Group served up some great laughs during its recent dinner theater at the Mount Ayr Golf and Country Club last weekend. A cast of nine including Becky BROWN, Pam POORE, Rick HAWKINS, Kathi BLUNCK, Collus LAWHEAD, Chuck WEIMAN, Kim NIEMAN, Scott MARCUM and Sherry ADAMS, along with co-directors Judy CUNNING and Ellen ELLIOTT, performed in front of a sold out crowd Friday and Saturday night and a smaller crowd on Sunday afternoon.

A total of 30 Raider football players were named letter winners following the 2004 season recently completed. The Raiders had a 5-4 season record and a 4-3 record in Class 1A District 8, tieing for fourth in the district.

First Sergeant Kraig A. PENNINGTON, who recently returned from service in Iraq, helped Mount Ayr American Legion Post members fold up a flag while Thelma RUSK shared information on the significance of each fold as part of the Veterans day ceremony at the Mount Ayr Community elementary school Thursday.
