When school students come back to Diagonal Community school halls next fall, a familiar face won't be sitting behind the superintendent secretary's desk. Secretary Martha HAMMOND turned in her resignation for the coming year to the Diagonal Community school board at its regular March meeting after serving at the school for 30 years.
