Three Mount Ayr Community high school music students have been finalizing their European Tour plans. Katy Jo KIMBLEY, and
alto, and Jared BECK, a tenor, will be preforming with a 120-voice choir during the month of July. Tim STORHOFF will be first
chair second trumpet in the 200-piece band.
It was a good week for Mount Ayr Community Raider baseball. In fact it couldn't be much better. The Raiders were
able to pick up four straight wins this week, including two in the Pride of Iowa conference, to move their season
record to 7-6, and their conference record to 2-3.
The Mount Ayr Community FFA chapter recently donated their time to build a fence around the Figure 8 track at the
Ringgold County Fairgrounds.
