Two more good southwestern Iowa electric farmers will appear on area TV programs in February, due to the efforts of
A. F. Canavan, Information and Electric Use Director for the six rural electric cooperatives of southwestern Iowa. Vance
GEIGER of Redding, a member of the Rideta Electric Cooperative, will appear on Harold Schmitz's "RFD No. 2" farmcast of
station KFEQ-TV, Saint Joseph, MO on Tuesday evening, February 22, at 9 p.m. Another interviewee is Virgil LUNGREN of
Montgomery county, a member of the Nyman Electric Cooperative, who will appear on Mal Hansen's "Down on the Farm"
program over WOW-TV, Omaha, NE Saturday noon, Feb. 26.
Mr. and Mrs. John LANE observed their golden wedding anniversary Feb. 12 in their home in Mount Ayr.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray HARVEY of Kellerton will observe their golden wedding anniversary Sunday, Feb. 20.
Wayne LEMON, representing the John B. Rogers Producing Company, will be in the county the week of February 28 to work
with committees in formulating plans for Ringgold county's centennial observance, July 2 through July 5.
