Kasey Dredge, Mount Ayr Record-News

In the "make it with wool" contest, Krista SHAHA of Mount Ayr won first in the senior division with a 100 per cent wool two-piece royal blue dress with scarf, hat and shoes; Susan GRIFFIN of Grand River had first place in adult I division; Vergene SMITH of Mount Ayr had second place in adult II division and Janelle WALTERS of Beaconsfield won first in the non-sewing teen division.

Terri SHIELDS is the new director of nursing at Mount Ayr Health Care Center.

Matthew HYMBAUGH, two 1/2 week old, is pictured this week with his jack-o-lantern Bert, the pumpkin of Sesame Street fame which still lights up the HYMBAUGH yard.
