Kasey Dredge, Mount Ayr Record-News

L.P. TODD, proprietor of the Princess Theater, announces that he has secured Prof. and Mr. L.B. FOSTER or one week, beginning Saturday evening. Professor FOSTER will play popular music during the entire performance and Mrs. FOSTER will sing.

The following is a list of young men and women of Mount Ayr and vicinity who are attending college this year:

Simpson College, Indianola - William MAY, William KELLEY, Georgia ALLYN, Porter HAVERLY, Vesta and Gladys MERRITT, Bessie LONG and Harry HULL;

State University of Iowa, Iowa City - Glen M. STOHLER, Millard HOLDEN, Harry FULLER and Frank WILSON;

Gem City Business College, Quincy, IL. - Vern TEALE;

Des Moines College - Chester DARROW, Lee TIMBY and Burris BEARD;

Drake University, Des Moines - Loren H. LAUGHLIN;

Cornell College, Mount Vernon - Doroty ROSS;

Monmouth College, Monmouth, IL. - Lena OGDEN; and Babcock Institute, Des Moines - Fred STEPHENSON.

Larry BROWN of Lamoni went last week to Burlington, where Monday he resumed his duties as high school biology teacher.

KELLERTON - George FULLER came Thursday morning from Leon to take charge of the R.A. Virden barbershop on the west side, which he traded his shop in Leon for. Mr. FULLER sold a half interest in the shop here to W.E. WHEELER.

REDDING - Blockton is boasting of having two new dwellings erected in 1914. Redding has the same and a ball team that has taken Blockton's measure.
