RETOLD OLD NEWS

Mount Ayr Record-News
Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa
Thursday, June 15, 1995

Lisa Wilson, Mount Ayr

The Mount Ayr City Council voted to be the provider of garbage service for the city of Mount Ayr in a special meeting for which no notice was provided to the Mount Ayr Record-News.

Seeing tractors in the field planting has been a sight for sore eyes this spring as wet weather has kept farmers out of the field. That began to change for some parts of Ringgold county this week as a break in the wet weather allowed planting to begin in some areas. Wet fields were still a problem for many farmers as the planting is just beginning. Many farmers have given up on corn and are seeking to plant as many soybeans as possible while there is still time.

OBITUARIES in June 15, 1995 Mount Ayr Record-News:

Naomi L. JOHNSTON CREVELING   Robert "Bob" SHOUSE
(Meredith) Paul PRATT   Joanna Marie BOESE

Transciption by Sharon R. Becker, October of 2012
