Carla RIGGS, the Tingley Legion Auxiliary's representative at Girls State held last week in Cedar Falls, served as secretary of state of the Nationalists.

Ms. Duane MITCHELL, Lynda MAIN and L. W. GROSS and daughter, Joan, were initiated into the Grand Cross of Color, District 12, during a ceremony held recently in Sidney.

Neighborhood Service Centers will open June 26 in Union and Ringgold counties. Richard GROSE of Ellston has been hired to serve as supervisor of the Neighborhood Service Center in Ringgold county, which will open June 26, providing a suitable location is available by that date.

Winners of prizes in the Kids' Fish Day sponsored by the Ringgold County Sportsmen's Club are Andy REYNOLDS, Dennis REYNOLDS, Robbie NOVAK, Steve COLVIN, Ronald LARSEN, Brenda VANDENBURG, Lynnette KNIGHT, Diane DAVIS, Patty GARDNER and Linda Van WINKLE.
