A deal was consummated last week whereby I.J. DALBEY became owner of the lumberyard at Diagonal, owned by the A.L. CRAWFORD
estate. The new yard will be managed by Jack DALBEY who is now identified with the lumberyard at Grant City, Mo. Earl LANE
will manage the yard in Grant City. The DALBEYS now own yards at Mount Ayr, Redding, Clearfield, Diagonal and Grant City.
During the annual meeting of the Mount Ayr Fire Department the following officers were elected:
