Collus LAWHEAD, a member of the Mount Ayr Community High School golf squad, won the Lamoni Open Golf Tournament played Sunday with a score of 108
for 27 holes.
Bruce HENDERSON will be one of 12 Iowa boys to represent the Hawkeye State in the National Junior Jaycees Champ Track Meet scheduled for August 8-14
in Houston, TX.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. BASTOW, of Mount Ayr, announce the engagement of their daughter, Carolyn Jean, to Gary E. TAYLOR, son of the Clifford TAYLORS,
of Diagonal.
Herbert B. DOLLARD of Kansas City, MO., signed a contract Tuesday to serve as head wrestling coach in the Mount Ayr Community Schools.
