When the managers of Mount Ayr's new co-operative creamery figured up the business for the last half of June, they
were much gratified to find that they were able to pay the patrons of the institution 26 cents per pound. After July 15,
a separate test will be made of each delivery of creram at the creamery. Heretofore, the composite test had been used.
Charlie CHONG of Creston and his cousin, Ben CHONG, have rented the Timby building on Taylor Street and will establish
a Chinese laundry. The building is now occupied by Gray's barber shop, which will be moved to the building now occupied
by Ed Smith's shoe shining and pressing parlors. The new laundry will be in charge of Ben CHONG, who has been
associated with his cousin in the laundry business in Creston.
Whitson and Simple have purchased the Cornwall and Fouser general store at Ellston. Mr. SIPLE, who has
been in the meat market here for several years will go Monday to Ellston to take charge of the store.
