Mrs. O. L. PETERSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Add TENNANT, was recently elected principal of the A. O. Sexton Elementary School in Chicago, IL. She will supervise the work of 23 instructors who serve
one thousand pupils in the schools. Mrs. PETERSON has served as instructor in the Chicago schools for 18 years of which she has been with the A. O. Sexton School.
Royce DAVIS, assistant cashier at the Security State Bank, resigned his position last week, effective Saturday, and has accepted a position as co-ordinator for the Rural Electrification Adminstration.
He will be located in the local offices in the basement of the new post office building. Robert DUNLANY, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. A. DUNLANY, began work last week in the bookkeeping department of the bank.
TINGLEY - Charley WEST, who has been running the grader in this community for the past two years, has taken charge of an oil station at Ellston, and expects to move his family there.
SHANNON CITY - Claude WOLFE, who has been employed the past 14 years in the Edwards Bros. general store, left Monday for Des Moines to accept a civil service position.
BIRTHS:
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene T. MOSIER, of Ames, are the parents of a son, Thomas Lynn, born February 5, in the Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames. Weight, seven and one-half pounds.
WISHARD CHAPEL - Mr. and Mrs. Everett FLETCHER are the proud parents of a daughter, born February 4.
