A new ambulance in the garage at the Ringgold County Hospital and a stalemate in the matter of a new incinerator were the topics for discussion at the RCH board meeting December 10. The custom-made ambulance was obtained from Road Rescue of St. Paul, MN at a cost of $62,400. It was necessary to replace the former ambulance which had 168,000 miles on it.

Robert L. BURRELL, a Ringgold county native and president of the Hampton Group, Inc., in Denver, CO, is serving as honorary chairman for the Colorado Business Hall of Fame.

When the annual meeting of the Mount Ayr MFA Oil Company bulk plant was held at the Mount Ayr American Legion here December 5, there were 134 attending.

The Mount Ayr Raiders opened their conference season with a 76-67 victory over Southeast Warren and advanced to 2-1.
