The late Bob Bennett of Mount Ar was recently honored as a nominee for the 2006 Law Enforement Victim Service Award in recognition of his compassion and dedication to victims of crime.

Tiffany Wimer of Mount Ayr participated in the United States Girls Wrestling Association Iowa state open tournament and placed first in the 136.5 pound weight group.

Extensive damage was done to the home of Jeff and Kim Lutrick at 304 W. Van Buren in Mount Ayr in an early morning fire Sunday.

Born, a daughter to Wes and Sara Little of Waukee.
