At a recent meeting of the Mount Ayr school board, Superintendent W. H. FASOLD and the entire corps of teachers were re-elected. The salary
of the superintendent was increased from $1,500 to $1,650 per year. The other teachers are as follows: high school - Floy A. BLISS, princpal;
Mary ANDERSON, Latin; Helen HARP, mathematics; N. E. SHUPBACK, science; and Anna OWEN, English. Grade teachers are Mabel SNEDAKER, Florence
TENNANT and Nona FINLEY, seventh and eighth; Mary CLAYTON, sixth; Mary REGER, fifth; Edna REYNARD, fourth; Marguirite HARDAWAY, third;
Carrie NORRIS, second; Blanche GOOD, first; Bessie BESSWICK sub-primary; Vera HART, supervisor of music; and, Mary MARSCHALL, domestic science.
KELLERTON - At a recent meeting of the Ladies' Improvement League, the following officers were elected: President, Mrs. L. R. TREICHLER;
vice-president, Mrs. S. A. MILES; secretary, Mrs. B. A. BALLOU; and treasurer, Mrs. G. E. TURNER.
DIAGONAL - John BELL is planning to build a store building on his lot near his house in the northeast part of town, where he will have his
shoe repairing shop and his daughter, Mrs. PERIGO, will have a stock of millinery.
TINGLEY - A number of baseball enthusiasts met recently and prefected an organization by electing M. M. COFFMAN, president; R. E. HALTOM,
secretary and manager; Dennis HAWK, assistant manager; and C. C. HAVER, treasurer.
A. P. KENNEY has formed a partnership with Charles TEALE in the plumbing business and Charles RICHARDS, an expert plumber from Albany, Mo,
has been employed to assist with the work.
Mayor MILLER has appointed L. M. BRINKERHOFF as street commissioner and marshall, which duties he has assumed.
H. L. REGER, whom everybody knows as "Doc," and who has been employed in what is known as the Boston Store on the northwest corner of the
square for 25 years, has accepted a position with Freeland & Carr and began working for them Wednesday morning.

Born, Monday evening to Mr. and Mrs. C. E BOSWORTH, a seven pound son.
