Zink's Bakery, located in the Dr. F.C. SMITH building on the north side of the square, recently vacated by Dorn's Cafe, will open for business on October 14.

Roy LEPLEY was re-elected chairman of the Ringgold County Agriculture Conservation Committee for the year during a meeting held October 9. Also re-elected were Charles VANDERPLUYM, vice-chairman, and Lloyd GILLILAND, third member of the committee. Harry WALTERS and Lynden TAYLOR were chosen to serve as first and second alternate members and James MOON was appointed treasurer.

The Mount Ayr Fruit and Vegetable Market, operated by E.C. BUTNER, of St. Joseph, MO., opened Saturday in the BARTOW building on the northwest corner of the square.

Walter Dorn moved Monday to Kellerton, where he will make his home with his mother. Mr. DORN closed his restaurant on the north side of the square Monday afternoon, having accepted a position as salesman for BARKER and CROSS, Nash dealers.

Marietta EDWARDS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.A. EDWARDS, of the Tingley vicinity, is a member of the Capella chorus at Drake University in Des Moines. Miss EDWARDS will also sing with the girls glee club and the university Church choir.

TINGLEY -- O'Neal SCOTT has purchased the RICHARDS Oil Station.
