Concerns about providing area youth with an alternative to unsupervised parties in the county were shared with members of the Mount Ayr city council at
their regular meeting Tuesday, Sept. 2. Bob POTTORFF, Mary Ann O'MAILIA, Rick STUFF, Lora STULL and Marcy RUMPLE met with the council to discuss some
kind of a youth center or a place for them to go. The group said they felt there was a need for a place for youth to hang out, play cards and just talk.
