After October 1, the offices of the Rideta Electric Cooperative, In. will be located in the Bartow building on the northwest corner of the square. The offices are now located in the basement of the federal post office building.
Wayne Gardner, a senior, was runner-up in the state 4-H ping-pong tournament held last weekend in Ames. Wayne also teamed with Rex Lesan to win runner-up honors in the ping-pong doubles. Dick Buck also
participated in several events.
KELLERTON - New officers of the Francis Willard W. C. T. U. are Mrs. Nina Burns, president; Mrs. Chas. Davis, secretary; and, Mrs. Ollie Harris, treasurer.
REDDING - Perry Stuck and family moved last week to Mount Ayr, where he has employment. Mr. Stuck has been employed here for the last year at Wright's Service Station. Cleo Norris will take his place at the station.
STUDENT AYR - Margaret Sheumaker, senior, who has been a twirler in the marching band, was chosen this eyar to serve as drum majorette. She succeeds Lucile Lisle, who held that position for three years. Junior
drum majorettes ate Irene Toland and Theola Andrew.

Born, September 10, to Mrs. and Mrs. Bert Lane, of Poe township, a son. Weight, eight pounds.
TINGLEY - Mr. and Mrs. Dave Jobe are the proud parents of a baby boy, born Friday in the Greater Community Hospital in Creston.
