Friends of Jarold Monday, of Nashville, TN, formerly of Mount Ayr, will be interested to know that he will appear May 11 at the KRNT Theatre in Des Moines as a member of a muscial group, "The Stonemans."

Donna Wallace, daughter of Chester Wallace, of Benton, was elected worthy advisor of Mount Ayr Assembly No. 160, Order of the Rainbow for Girls,during the regular meeting of the assembly held Monday night.

Carla Sue Riggs has been selected by Unit 516 of the Tingley Legion Auxiliary to attend Hawkeye Girls State to be held June 5-11 on the campus of the State College of Iowa in Cedar Falls.

Three break-ins at Diagonal and Clearfield the night of May 4 are being investigated by Sheriffs Elbert Strange and Leonard Ratliff of Ringgold and Taylor counties.
