Mount Ayr Record-News
Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa
Thursday, February 10, 1966

by Chanse Hall, Mount Ayr Record-News

The new office building of Dr. Roy E. FELL located at 207 N. Taylor Street in Mount Ayr held their open house.

The third annual auction, sponsored by the freshman class of the Mount Ayr Community High School, netted the members a total of $480.

The Mount Ayr Hi-Y met February 3, to organize their latest project, sending hygienic packets to Vietnam. Two types of packets are availble, one for adults, containing soap, towels and body powder, and another for children, containing pencils and crayons. Money for the kits is being donated by various organizations in town and the Hi-Y.

The Thespians production workshop was held January 29, in the Penthouse Theatre, but due to conflicting dates and inclement weather, none of the eleven invited schools were able to attend. A total of 21 Mount Ayr Thespians was present.
