Craig ELLIOTT, of Benton, is Iowa's nominee for 4-H Interstate Boy of the Year, which honor will be accorded on September 15, during the
St. Joseph Interstate Show.
Jaycees' Barbecue was enjoyed by 6,000 persons September 2-4.
On August 30, Mayor J. L. SCHARDEIN turned on the valve which made natural gas available to the residents of Mount Ayr.
