County Superintendent Vera F. DICKENS was elected president of the County Superintendents Association of Iowa and Verna ANDERSON was chosen treasurer of the State Rural Teachers Association during the state teachers convention held last week in Des Moines.

The Joe MIDDLETON D-X service station was leased last week to A.E. SACKETT. Mr. MIDDLETON and Lyle SACKETT will be employed as station attendants.

HICKORY GROVE -- Rev. WARMAN and family moved to the Hickory Grove parsonage last weekend. He is a former pastor of the Hickory Grove and Jackson Churches.

October 21, an eight-pound son to Mr. and Mrs. Everett FLETCHER, Wishard Chapel
