During the 4-H Club Rally Day, county officers for the new year were elected as follows:

President, Viola KNIGHT; vice-president, Pauline WEBB; secretary-treasurer, Anna Margaret LESAN; and, publicity chairman, Vona KNIGHT.

Ainslee HICKERSON, who recently completed his third year as a student at the University of Iowa, has gone to Kewanne, ILL, where he will be employed this summer in the newspaper office of the Star-Courier.

Ellston - The Epworth League plans to give a play, "The Neighbors," on June 10. The cast of characters includes Golda JACKSON, Alice ADAMS, Raymond JOHNSTON, Paul DUKES, Helen SHAW, Anna BALDON, Eva HARTMAN and Florence JACKSON.

Shady Grove - Mr. and Mrs. Sherman McANINCH are the parents of a nine-pound son, Joseph Eugene, born May 28.

June 05, a daughter, Rosalind, seven pounds and one-half ounce, to Mr. and Mrs. Hugh B. MAIN
