In a very successful trip to the state solo and ensemble contest at Interstate 35 [School] in Truro Saturday, Mount Ayr Community musicians brought home a total of 12 division I ratings.
Six MAC FFA chapter members received the state FFA degree, the highest honor awarded at the state level in FFA. They were: Debbie Smith, Suzi Elmer, Jennifer Faris, Elsa McAlexander, Lafe Dukes and Brian Bickel.
