KELLERTON - At the Methodist manse last Wednesday evening, occurred the marriage of Carroll MERRITT, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. MERRITT, of Athens
township, to Mary Ethel MIDDLETON, Rev. Victor WEST performing the ceremony. The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. MIDDLETON, of Poe
township. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Harley BEEN, Ray MIDDLETON and Fern and Alma AXTELL. The couple will be at home for the present with
the father of the groom in Athens township. J. L. HANKINS, who closed up his barbershop and moved to the W. E. WHEELER shop last week, decided that
he liked his corner location better, so he sold the shop back to Mr. WHEELER and moved back to the old place on Monday. Frank MANNING will convert
his restaurant into a grocery store after this week. He will no longer serve meals and short orders but will keep his soda fountain. Mr. MANNING has had
experience in the grocery business and understands the business thoroughly.
