When a crowd of 15,000 farmers, rural business people and other interested participants gathered in Ames last week for the National Cirsis Action Rally, a number of Ringgold county people were there, too. Between 30 and 40 people from the county attended the rally to listen to speakers call for action on farm problems and join with people from across the midwest and form a multitude of different farm groups in attempting to send a message to Washington, D.C., and the rest of the country about the problems agriculture is facing.

Star wrestling qualifiers were Jeff SCOTT, Matt DAUGHTON, Joe WARIN, Brian WIMER and Rowdy McDOWELL.
