A hold-up in the delivery of the turf to go down on the concrete for the holes of the miniature golf course is delaying opening of the Majestic Miniature Golf Course on the east side of the square in Mount Ayr, but much of the rest of the work on the nine-hole course is being completed. The golf course has been built on an empty lot between Majestic Lanes bowling alley and the New 2U store, filling an empty lot on the square with a new recreational asset.

Another Ringgold County Fair is underway this week at the Ringgold County Fairgrounds north of Mount Ayr.
