Robert L. WALKER, 21-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman WALKER of Kellerton, is one of eight Iowa rural youth to be nominated as Iowa delegates to the 1955-56 International Farm Youth Exchange program.

Mrs. John WARIN of Maloy was re-elected chairman of the county girls' 4-H committee during a meeting held Friday. Mrs. WARIN is serving her second year as chairman of the committee. Other members of the committee are Mrs. Wayne ANDERSON of Tingley, Mrs. Paul EASON of Benton, Mrs. John GALBRAITH of Kellerton, Mrs. Aubrey LYNCH of Maloy and Mrs. Arthur RAUCH of Mount Ayr.

Mr. and Mrs. Lee DAVENPORT and family of Diagonal entertained with a cooperative dinner Sunday, guests for which were the four young men from India and their twelve host families. Surinder Singh, Amorappa Patel, Jawaharlal Ujaoney and Ramaliaga Reddy are the youth from India who are in this area under the International Farm Youth Exchange Program. The DAVENPORTS were Patel's first host family and Ujaoney is presently a guest of the Ray POTTORFFS of Riley township.

Square dancers from the Blackmore community will be featured in a half-hour program tomorrow (Friday) evening over KRNT-tV, from 9 until 9:30 p.m. The four boys and four girls, who were featured in several entertainments this summer during the county's centennial observance and who will appear on TV are Norma WILSON, Janet LONGCOY, Karen FENTON, Judy KEPLINGER, Gary CREVELING, Dave MATHANY and Robert and Kenneth LAY.

Charged with possession of ducks shot out of season, Jack CLARK, 42, of Ellston pleaded guilty last Wednesday before Justice of the Peace C. E. THOMPSON and was fined $150 and 10 days in the county jail. The charges were made by Pat TILLEY, state conservation officer.
